Sandra M. Perdue Memorial Baseball Scholarship

The Sandy Award

Sandy Perdue

The Sandra M. Perdue Memorial Baseball Scholarship, to be known informally as 'The Sandy Award', was established in September 2008. Sandy passed away on June 9, 2008 after suffering cardiac arrest at a Rolla High School baseball game.

Sandy was the mother of two Rolla High School baseball players: Andy Perdue, 2000-2002, and Daniel Perdue, 2006-2009. Sandy was the consummate 'baseball mom', tirelessly lending support to all aspects of the Rolla High School baseball program and its players.

Sandy's family and friends could think of no better way to honor her memory than by offering an annual scholarship to a qualified Rolla High School baseball player in her name.

The scholarship is in the amount of $1000 and is available to members of the Rolla High School varsity baseball team.
